The “Chianina” Bovine Ragout prepared with the meat of one of the oldest and most delicious cattle breeds in Italy. Already very popular in ancient Rome, it owes its name to the Valdichiana area, where this breed is traditionally bred.
Chianina cattle are raised on pasture and live a healthy and natural life. In fact, these animals do not adapt to intensive farming, because to allow for excellent slaughter they must reach a fairly high weight, and therefore the fattening times are longer.
All this positively affects the final quality of this meat, however excellent for innate characteristics.
For many years it has been certified and guaranteed by the PGI of the White Vitellone of the Central Apennines, a certification that belongs only to two other breeds (Marchigiana and Romagnola).
The one prepared with the meat of this type of breed is one of the best Ragout you can taste.
